I still forgive you

You promised me my free will,
And awarded me the slavery
Displaying Bravery… I still forgive you

You enjoyed all my seasons
Though you coloured them with blood
Tears full of flood…. I still forgive you

You killed my children
And parents were blamed
Homes of love flamed…. I still forgive you

You ravaged my daughters
And termed them as whores
Peeled their sores … I still forgive you

You gave me a religion
And stole away my faith
Covered in a swathe…I still forgive you

You admired my resilience
But called me a coward
Shamelessly you Floundered…I still forgive you

Wish you knew how to live
Wish you knew how to give
Wish you knew how to forgive
….I still forgive you
